Recent Results

Below are a few examples of some recent case results:

• Long term maintenance/alimony
  Though offered a resolution of paying maintenance for three years which would have terminated by the end of 2010, my opponent desired trial and found a judgment entered for maintenance of a greater amount per month plus it would be reviewed after three years and likely, be extended.  I represented the Wife.
  
• Custody
  In another trial a father was awarded custody of his minor child.
  
• Division of extensive personal property
  The third trial involved the division of extensive real property, investment accounts, pensions, cars, boats and other personal property.  Prior to the trial, my opponent would not divide the property equitably.  The ultimate judgment divided the property of two people married for 15 years but where there were no minor children on terms closely resembling my pre-trial position.

Current Cases

I foresee the following cases going to Trial:

• Custody and Renewal Case
One is a custody and removal case in which I represent a father in a post-decree case where two sons wish to move to the state where the father resides and a psychological evaluation has endorsed the recommendation.  Mother resists the change of residential custody.

• Marital Estate in Excess of $2 million
The other case involves a marital estate in excess of $2 million dollars where one party just inherited over $1 million dollars but wants to divide the marital estate in their favor as well.
